St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal

This year we are asking all students and staff to kindly donate one of the items listed below for our annual St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal.

Each homeroom has a tub to fill with donations. There is also a box in Prosper and Main Reception for staff donations.

This is our chance to help local Wynnum families this festive season.

Book of Remembrance

As the year comes to a close, we take a moment to pause and reflect.

November has long been a time for prayer and remembrance of those who have passed into eternal life. This month of reflection begins with All Saints’ Day on 1 November and All Souls’ Day on 2 November.

Every year, Iona College invites our extended community to submit the names of their loved ones who have entered eternal rest.

These names are collected and placed in our College Chapel throughout November, where we pray for those remembered in our Book of Remembrance during every Mass.

If you would like to add the names of your loved ones, please use this link and fill in their details. Names will be included in the College Book of Remembrance for this November. Please submit your entries by 28 October.

Deceased Ionians Mass of Remembrance

Iona College has a rich history spanning over 67 years, fostering connections among students, staff and families.

On Saturday, 1 November, at 5pm in the College Chapel, we will gather to honour the lives of all deceased Ionians during one of the most meaningful events of the school year.

We warmly invite all members of our community to join us in remembering those dear to us who have passed into eternal life.
