Inaugural Intermediate Ensembles Launch

Many of the advantages associated with participating in a music ensemble centre around the social connections formed by students. This sense of community is a vital element that binds these groups together and contributes to both the ongoing success of students and the music program.

On Tuesday, our intermediate band, percussion, and guitar students will gather for the first meeting of their new ensemble groups. For some students, these groups will be as they were throughout the year. For others these groups will be brand new. 

During the launch, students will have the opportunity to rehearse new music together, take part in team-building activities, and enjoy a shared afternoon tea.

To conclude the event, everyone will board a bus and travel to Bounce, where they can unwind and enjoy an afternoon of fun and camaraderie.

Iona Singers: Upcoming Performances

On Wednesday, the Iona Singers will perform at the Foundation Day Assembly, where our new student leaders for 2026 will be inducted.

On Thursday, the Iona Singers will travel to BCEC to sing at the 2025 Valedictory Mass.

Our music students have a packed schedule and are already deeply engaged, even though we are just at the end of Week 1 of Term 4.
