Welcome to all Year 10, 11, and 12 students to the Senior Years phase of your journey at Iona College.

This is an exciting time filled with opportunities for personal growth, academic achievement, and memorable experiences. We look forward to supporting each of you academically and pastorally as you navigate this important chapter.

A special welcome to the Year 10 students who were inducted via the hat ceremony on Wednesday. Your white shirt and grey felt hat represent the vision of Fr Tim Long OMI for Ionians to achieve and be accountable to high standards of personal presentation.

These items are also a symbol of the status and responsibility bestowed upon a Senior student at Iona. Your enthusiasm and personal discipline set the tone for a successful journey ahead.

We are also delighted to host Paul Dillon from DARTA (Drug and Alcohol Research and Training Australia) who will be presenting to all students on Monday, 3 February.

Paul's sessions are highly informative and aimed at equipping students with the knowledge and skills to make informed decisions regarding drug and alcohol use.

In addition to the student sessions, there will be a parent engagement evening that night where Paul Dillon will share his insights and provide valuable information to help parents support their children in making safe and healthy choices.

This is a free event, but you will need to RSVP to secure your seat.
