What is the Safe Spaces program about?

SCS Safe Spaces; Clear Steps to Safer Spaces for Kids program has been created with funding from the Queensland Family and Child Commission. Safe Spaces is all about helping small businesses who provide recreational services to children and young people meet the new Queensland Child Safe Standards.

Social Care Solutions is offering free support to people who provide services such as music drama or dance lessons, tutoring services or sporting activities. Consultants from SCS will work with the business to help with preparations to meet the Child Safe Standards.

Services must be in Queensland's Brisbane or Moreton Bay Council areas and not be affiliated with a bigger organisation, for example, National Rugby League. The attached flyer outlines how Social Care Solutions will support businesses.
